Summer Hockey Camps

Penguins Training offers a variety of camps June through August 2026! Registration is now live! 

Goal Scoring Camp: June 8-12

Do you want to be a goal scorer or become more offensive-minded? This is the camp for you! Goal Scoring Camp includes two on-ice and one off ice session each day. This camp will help bring out the goal scorer in you. Whether you aspire to be like Kris Letang or Sidney Crosby this camp will help teach you the art of scoring goals and playing an offensive game from any position.

Hockey/Golf Camp: June and July

Players will have two hours of on-ice each day. Sessions will focus on: • Power Skating/Over Speed Drills to develop quick feet and controlled edge work. • Shooting Drills to develop proper weight transfer, accuracy and strong shooting habits • Skills Theme of the Day — Stickhandling, Passing, Controlled Body Contact, Competition and Game Habits will be stressed throughout the week. Take your hockey skills and translate them over to the links with two hours of golf lessons taught by PGA Professionals at Diamond Run! Lessons will focus on: • Proper grip, stance, posture, safety, etiquette and self discipline, as well as full swing review

Little Rookies Academy: June 22-26

Join us for Little Rookies Academy which will help you take your game to the next level for the upcoming season. Players will receive 10 hours of on-ice training per week and 5 hours of dryland training. Players will also participate in fun recreation games throughout the week helping increase their agility, balance and overall coordination. Our dedicated, professional staff will make sure this is a summer camp experience players will remember for years to come.

Speed Camp: July 6-10

Speed Camp is an immersive deep-diving program focusing on not only the techniques behind speed, but also the science. This exclusive camp is geared toward the elite level athlete looking for an edge over the competition. Speed Camp will consist of: • Technical Training and Video Analysis • Elite Level Off-Ice Training • Explosive Starts and Stride Technique

Defense Camp: July 13-17

Offense may win games, but defense wins championships. Learn what is being taught at the college and professional level. From skills and strategy, to strength and conditioning, to mental toughness, nutrition, and recruiting insights. People who play hockey may have skills, but hockey players play all sides of the puck. Become the defensemen that is noticed at combines and tryouts. • Retrieving pucks and scanning the ice on breakouts/regroups • Gap control and proper stick positioning • Surfing and angling your opponent • Boxing out and developing strong body position • Shooting from the point with deception

Forward Camp: July 13-17

Be an offensive force every time you touch the puck. Today’s forwards are dynamic skaters with superior puckhandling skills and possess creative offensive instincts. Forward Camp will focus on position specific skating, puckhandling, passing skills and will introduce offensive pattern recognition tactics for players to dominate their opponents. • Dynamic skating skills to create more time and space • Puckhandling super skills to create plays • Shoot to score shot selection techniques • Offensive zone entry patterns (1 v 1 / 2 v 1 / 3 v 2)

Game Camp: July 20-24

We are excited to offer a unique summer training experience where athletes get to train like a pro. Players will participate in 2 games per day and will have professional video analysis. Video sessions will consist of game fi lm review and will include footage from professional games to show high-level execution of situations and concepts from the athlete’s own games. Game fi lm will be made available to parents and athletes following the conclusion of the camp. Players will also have access to game video to review their shifts.

Penguins Rinks Day Camp: July 27-31

2 hours on-ice training each day to work on fundamentals, good habits, and having fun! • Hockey Skills - Shooting, Power Skating/Edgework, Puck-Handling, Passing and Competitive Games • Off-ice training each day led by Penguins Performance Training staff • Outdoor games

EXCEL Hockey Academy Boot Camp: July 27-31

If you’re not pushing yourself - your’re not getting better... Brush the dust off your skates, this isn’t your typical summer camp. Boot Camp is our high intensity program designed to get you ready for the hockey season. Our professional coaches will take athletes through on-ice resistance, over speed, and sprint training sessions designed to maximize your potential in game scenarios. Each session is constructed to push athletes out of their comfort zone while having clear game application and improving their skills. Boot Camp includes two on-ice training sessions and one off-ice workout through sign-up today!

Battle Camp: August 3-7

Hockey is a game of battles. Increase your body contact confi dence and develop the instinct to compete and win more puck battles in every zone on the ice. Learn the battle skills of body positioning, stick angling, and on-ice awareness to gain the confi dence to dominate your competition every shift. • Learn proper techniques of hockey checking • Body contact confidence • Body positioning skills to deliver and absorb body contact • Proper angling patterns to force the offense to the boards • Stick positioning to deliver clean checks and recover pucks • Understanding playing safely while playing aggressively

Game Reads Scoring Camp August 3-7

For skaters and goalies Limited to 16 skaters and 6 goalies Join our Skills Professional team and Director of Goaltending for an exciting camp that gives players a view from the goalie’s net and goalies a view of the ice from the players’ skates. For players, our Skills Professionals will coach scoring techniques and reading the ice/play; our Director of Goaltending will show them where to shoot and how to get the goalie moving. For goalies, our Director of Goaltending will coach making proper reads on the play; our Skills Professional will share the tips & tricks that players use to disguise their movements. For players & goalies, on-ice sessions include skating, puck handling, and game-simulated scoring opportunities followed by an interactive video session.

Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy for Individuals Registered for Camps

  • If canceled within 45 days of the event, no refund will be issued
  • If canceled 46 to 90 days before the event, a 50% refund will be issued
  • If canceled more than 90 days before the event, a full refund will be issued minus the $150 non-refundable deposit

Cancellation Policy for Private/Small Group Sessions

  • If canceled more than 24 hours in advance, an account credit will be issued. 
  • If canceled less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued and the full fee will be due. 

Cancellation Policy for Individuals Registered for Classes (multi-week training)

  • If canceled within 14 days of the class start, a 50% refund will be issued
  • If canceled more than 14 days before the class start, a full refund will be issued minus a $50 registration fee.
