The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is the primary practice and training facility for the Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as a comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine. This first-of-its-kind facility in the Pittsburgh region is a true partnership between two world-class organizations. The facility is dedicated to treating, training, and inspiring athletes at every level.

This multi-use facility is a destination for athletes of all ages and skill levels seeking sports medicine, performance, and rehabilitation expertise as well as hockey-specific skills and performance training.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm

We are typically open additional hours based on business.

The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex will feature:

  • 185,000 square feet of total space
  • 54,000 square feet of clinical space
  • Sports medicine clinic with 24 private patient rooms
  • Physical therapy gym overlooking the Penguins practice rink
  • Aquatic therapy
  • On-site MRI and x-ray imaging
  • Two full-size hockey rinks with approximately 1,500 total seats
  • 14 locker rooms
  • Dedicated sports performance space including a sprinting track and batting cages
  • Café and retail space
  • Free parking

How to Register:

3.Select a category on the left

  • Register – Click here to register for any training sessions, multi-week, single day, camps, tournaments, leagues, public skate, etc
  • Leagues – 4 on 4 youth league, adult league, etc
  • Drop-In Events – another way to search for date specific training, skating and skills training and public skate.
  • Scroll to the date you are interested in training on to view available sessions
  • Membership/Passes – to purchase a 6, 12 or 24 pack of skating and skills sessions
  • Purchase the pass first - Click add pass, select participant at the top, then select your pass, once the pass is purchased
  • Select classes to participate in and apply your pass at checkout
