Private Sessions

The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex has a variety of professional coaches on staff.  These qualified coaches are available for one on one instruction designed to take your child’s group training to the next level. Private instruction is offered for Figure, Basic Skill, and Hockey skating.

Lessons are offered on private ice when available.

1-on-1 Private Lessons

Offered 6am - 1pm on weekdays. All GREEN slots on the coach availability calendars are available.

Details and Fees

Fee: $45 for 30 minutes or $90 for 60 minutes, includes ice and instructor

All private lesson must be paid upon reservation.

Lessons must be scheduled 48 hours in advance and canceled 24 hours in advance. There are no refunds for missed lessons or canceled within 24 hours.

There are no reschedules for missed lessons.

Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy for Private Sessions

  • If canceled more than 24 hours in advance, an account credit will be issued. 
  • If canceled less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued and the full fee will be due.
